ABOUT LUIZ EDUARDO

Welcome!

I’m Luiz Eduardo Giampaoli, a software engineer, systems architect, and founder of Giamlabs.

For more than two decades, I have worked across multiple layers of technology — from embedded systems and IoT to distributed architectures, backend platforms, and modern web applications.

Throughout my career, I have designed and built systems that connect the physical and digital worlds: industrial RFID integrations, smart city solutions, and more recently, multi-tenant SaaS platforms such as OperRTX, focused on maintenance, asset management, and operations.

Alongside that, I also develop Tolifex — a context-oriented edge-to-cloud IoT platform that separates physical devices from real-world entities, enabling systems to respond intelligently to events in distributed environments.

In addition, I have a continuous interest in technology in its broader sense, including embedded systems, electronics, retro computing, as well as topics related to aviation and flight simulation, which often serve as inspiration to explore concepts in engineering, distributed systems, and decision-making in critical environments.

This space is not about trends, tutorials, or hype. It is a place where I share how I think about technology — through exploration, real-world engineering decisions, and the process of building systems from first principles.
